About Our Team:
The Alan Donald Real Estate Team is a small, dynamic and efficient real estate sales and marketing team. We focus on growing our business mainly through client satisfaction and client referrals. More than 80% of our business comes from direct referrals from past clients or people who know us personally. Our team brings the training, the skills and competencies, the experience and above all, the commitment to excel in these three areas. Our team works all over the Charleston, SC Metro Area, from the beaches (Isle of Palms, Sullivans Island, Daniel Island, James Island, Johns Island, Folly Beach) to western and inner suburbs (West Ashley, Goose Creek, North Charleston, Hanahan, Summerville, Mount Pleasant) and Downtown Historic Charleston.
Our specialty is the Mt. Pleasant market, both in new construction and existing stock. We regularly prepare market updates for our clients and allied resources (see following example). We pay particular attention to Belle Hall Plantation and Heron Pointe subdivisions.
We work about 50% with Buyer Clients and 50% with Listing Clients. We have developed advanced systems for buyers - according to their particular situation (i.e. out-of-towner, first time home buyer, etc.) and an effective marketing system for listings that has allowed our clients' listings to outperform the market. In 2014, our average Sold/List Price Ratio was 97.21% compared with the average for the MLS of 91.68%. In addition we sold our average listing in 35 days, compared to the average of 82 days for the MLS.
Our Spanish language capability helps us communicate better with our Spanish-speaking clients.
